What is Kiddom Virginia Math?
Kiddom Virginia Math, based on IM® authored by Illustrative Mathematics®, provides a consistent, problem-based lesson structure that ensures coherence within and across all grade levels. 100% aligned to the VA SOL in K-8 (the only curriculum for K-5), Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2.
Each lesson is thoughtfully designed with instructional routines that promote interaction and discourse, encouraging all students to engage in mathematics actively. The curriculum also offers specialized guidance and support for teachers to effectively facilitate learning for multilingual learners and students with disabilities. Additionally, our curriculum incorporates Math Language Routines (MLRs) to aid in language development and improve access for multilingual learners, ensuring an inclusive learning environment for all students.
